Tuition Fees & Scholarships
Tuition fees and expenses vary according to the program and other factors. For complete details on tuition and other fees, please download the “Tuition & Other Fees” brochure available on the right-hand side.
Payments must be made in full:
- before the 15th November (for winter intake),
- before the 15th February (for spring intake),
- before the 15th May (for summer intake),
- before the 31st August (for October intake),
unless a payment plan contract has been approved.
The tuition fees paid for each semester are non-refundable.
Les Roches is committed to supporting motivated students in reaching their potential. As a private institute, Les Roches provides a limited number of scholarships and financial aid packages for Les Roches students. Each scholarship and financial aid package has specific criteria, and eligibility is examined on a case-by-case basis for those students who have submitted a complete application. Students may also be eligible for loans offered in their home country.
Applicants may only apply for scholarships or financial aid after they have been admitted to Les Roches. Scholarship application deadline before the 1st November (for winter intake), 1st February (for spring intake), 1st May (for summer intake), and 1st August (for October intake).
A limited number of scholarships are available to assist motivated young learners with their hospitality studies. These scholarships vary in amount and duration. Eligibility is examined on a case-by-case basis for those students who have submitted a complete application. Please note that scholarships may not be combined.
Competitive and Partner Scholarships
Open to incoming BBA in International Hotel Management students. Applicants should write an opinion piece (500 to 700 words) on how to become a better leader in hospitality through higher education. They should highlight their own professional interests and explain how studying leadership will help them achieve their goals. Winners will receive a scholarship and have their articles published on Les Roches Marbella Blog.
Open to incoming Postgraduate Program students. Applicants should write an opinion piece (500 to 700 words) on how to drive innovation to the hospitality industry. They should highlight their own professional interests and explain how studying hospitality will help them achieve their goals. Winners will receive a scholarship and have their articles published on Les Roches Marbella Blog.
Open to incoming students at Les Roches Marbella. Applicants must use print, video or other formats to submit their creative ideas for the future of luxury tourism. They should answer the question, “What will luxury tourism be like in 2020?” The most creative and applicable idea will win, and the winning submission will be shared across media channels. In addition, Les Roche Marbella’s innovation and entrepreneurs team will help the winner develop this idea further over the course of his/her studies.
Open every year to 10 incoming undergraduate students who are IB DP graduates. This scholarship is awarded to outstanding IB Diploma students with a minimum score of 28 points. Applicants must submit two recommendation letters and include an essay (500 words) describing their motivation for studying hospitality management at Les Roches.
Open to incoming undergraduate Program students. Applicants to the Entrepreneurs Scholarship should write a two-page executive summary of an innovative business proposal in the travel and tourism industry, hospitality sector or experience economy. This should be an idea for a startup that could be pursed during or after the applicant’s studies in his/her home country. Applicants should also submit a business model of this idea using a one-page Business Model Canvas. Winners will receive a scholarship and ongoing business support from Seedstars, including tickets to the regional and global Seedstars Summit, on-demand network access and introductions, monthly mentoring sessions and a blog post featuring the winner’s new startup venture. Open to incoming BBA in Global Hospitality Management students. Are you passionate about hospitality? Show Les Roches Global Alumni why you want to become one of them in a two-minute “Why Me?” video. Applicants should explain what they can bring to the Les Roches family by proposing ways to contribute to the school and the hospitality industry. Open to children of Les Roches Alumni who have been admitted to Les Roches. Also open to Les Roches Alumni who are returning for the Master of Hospitality Leadership program. Les Roches Alumni returning for the MBA program are eligible for a 20% tuition scholarship.
Open to siblings of Les Roches students or graduates.
Open to children of hotel general or senior departmental managers; hotel owners; restaurant owners or senior managers; or general managers or owners of hospitality companies, such as wineries, catering companies, travel agencies, spa and health resorts, etc. Documentation supporting the above claim must be submitted each academic semester.
Les Roches Marbella International School of Hotel Management offers scholarships for academic excellence* to recognize and reward the efforts and talent of outstanding students.
All students achieving an average of between 9 and 10 points in their bachiller studies will be awarded a scholarship for 50% of the tuition fees for the undergraduate degree program.
Scholarships apply to the following programs:
- Bachelor in Business Administration in International Hotel Management
- Bachelor in Business Administration in International Hotel Management with Intensive English and Service Program
- Students must have studied in Spain, Andorra or Gibraltar for at least the last 3 years of their secondary education to be eligible.
- To receive the scholarship for academic excellence throughout their studies, students must maintain an average of 9 in each semester of the university program.
- The scholarship for academic excellence is not valid in conjunction with other scholarships offered by Les Roches Marbella.
The Friendship scholarship is a token of appreciation for any currently enrolled student who recommends a friend to study at Les Roches in Switzerland, Spain or the USA. Once the recommended friend (new student) has checked-in at the Les Roches campus, the currently enrolled student will be granted a one-time reduction of 1000€ on his/her tuition fees. If the recommended friend cancels his/her registration before the beginning of the intake, the offer is void. The name of the student who recommended Les Roches to his/her friend must be noted on the friend's (new student's) application form.
Loans and Information by Country
In Canada, government student assistance, which can include loans, bursaries and grants, is available for Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and refugees or protected persons with assessed financial need. The federal and provincial/territorial assistance programs are jointly administered through the student's province/territory of residence under the Canada Student Loan Program.

School Codes to apply - Les Roches: QPDH
Les Roches is recognized by the Canada Revenue Agency as a university outside Canada for the purpose of paragraph 118.5(1)(b) and 118.6 (1)(b) of the Canadian Income Tax Act. Therefore, a taxpayer from Canada who was a full time student at the university in a degree course can claim tax credit for fees subject to certain restrictions. Furthermore, a student’s parent or guardian is also eligible to claim the transferred portion of tuition fees allowed.

Les Roches is approved by the U.S. Department of Veteran's Affairs for the Bachelor of Business Administration. Interested candidates who are veterans or eligible dependents should contact us to speak with USA Regional Admissions Director for instructions on how to apply.
Students in a situation of economic hardship may apply for financial aid. Eligibility is examined on a case-by-case basis for those students residing in Spain who have submitted a complete application. Funding varies in amount and duration. Because funding is limited, factors such as academic status, attendance and disciplinary history are also taken into consideration when reviewing requests.
