“I decided to study international hotel management in Les Roches Marbella because it is one of the best schools in the world and it was recommended to me by my friends. Today I am sure that I made the best decision for my professional career. From the beginning in Les Roches Marbella you learn to live professionally, to relate, to have the right attitude. You will learn to use all these tools to become a great manager. Les Roches Marbella opened the doors for me to develop my career as I wished. This has given me the possibility to experience this industry all over the world and finally to return my knowledge to my country of origin, Morocco. After several internships at prestigious hotels in London and the Canary Islands, I began my professional career as a financial analyst at “The Breakers Hotel” in Palm Beach, Florida. Then I was promoted to Financial Analyst Manager. I decided to continue my financial career at the Sofitel in China but decided to go to Miami to work as Director of Food and Beverages in a high class restaurant. Thanks to my international experience I got the position of Financial Controller so I was able to become a financial regulator for Kenzi Hotels in Marrakech. To study in Les Roches Marbella helped me to improved my social skills and language skills, essential qualities to become Guardian Director for the first Barceló Hotel in Casablanca, Morocco. I progressed to the General Director of the Hotel des Artes in Morocco, but Barceló called me for the opening of the Barceló Mediterranean Saidia Hotel in northern Morocco, a 5-star resort with 614 rooms. I thank the entire academic team for providing me with the knowledge and skills necessary to develop professionally in the international hotel and tourism industry. Thank you Les Roches Marbella! “

Degree: Posgraduate Diploma in Golf Management

“Golf Management has changed over the past few years. Today, a golf club manager is no longer an adapted business manager, or a golf pro that has moved into the business side of operations, but a specialized golf manager. What I learned and experienced at Les Roches Marbella has prepared me for what the golf industry now demands, a specialized golf professional with a forward thinking mind set, who not only understands the ever shifting golf market, but also the varying requirements of each golf club.

The exceptional tutoring from some of the best golf management minds in Europe, as well as facilities tailored for the studying of golf, place this university and program at the forefront of Golf Management studies, a step ahead of the rest. I have no doubt that my decision, to complete the Postgraduate Diploma in Golf Management at Les Roches Marbella, is a defining moment in my career, helping to shape me in to the golf manager I hope to be. I had undertaken my 6 months internship as Golf Operations Intern at “Deutsche Bank Championship 2011” in Norton, Massachusetts, USA.

I wanted to extend my gratitude again, to all the faculty and the staff there at Les Roches Marbella, I have no doubt that because of my studies there, I am excelling forward with my career. So much so that it pleases me to tell you that I am now the Operations Manager for the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am in Monterey, California, the biggest employers in Monterey County (1800 staff). My lifelong dream has finally happened!
