As a private institute, Les Roches provides a limited number of scholarships and financial aid packages for Les Roches students. Each scholarship and financial aid package has specific criteria, and eligibility is examined on a case-by-case basis for those students who have submitted a complete application. Students may also be eligible for loans offered in their home country.

A limited number of scholarships are available to assist motivated young learners with their hospitality studies. These scholarships vary in amount and duration. Eligibility is examined on a case-by-case basis for those students who have submitted a complete application. Please note that scholarships may not be combined.
Open to incoming undergraduate students who are IB Diploma graduates. Limited to 10 scholarships per semester per Les Roches campus.
This scholarship is awarded to outstanding IB Diploma students with a minimum score of 28 points. Applicants must submit two recommendation letters and include an essay (500 words) describing their motivation for studying hospitality management at Les Roches.

Open to children of Les Roches Alumni who have been admitted to Les Roches. Also open to Les Roches Alumni who are returning for the Master of Hospitality Leadership program. Les Roches Alumni returning for the MBA program are eligible for a 20% tuition scholarship.
Open to siblings of Les Roches students or graduates.
Open to children of hotel general or senior departmental managers; hotel owners; restaurant owners or senior managers; or general managers or owners of hospitality companies, such as wineries, catering companies, travel agencies, spa and health resorts, etc. Documentation supporting the above claim must be submitted each academic semester.
Les Roches Marbella International School of Hotel Management offers scholarships for academic excellence* to recognize and reward the efforts and talent of outstanding students.
All students achieving an average of between 9 and 10 points in their bachiller studies will be awarded a scholarship for 50% of the tuition fees for the undergraduate degree program.
Scholarships apply to the following programs:
– Bachelor in Business Administration in International Hotel Management
– Bachelor in Business Administration in International Hotel Management with Intensive English and Service Program
– Students resident of Spain, Andorra or Gibraltar.
– To receive the scholarship for academic excellence throughout their studies, students must maintain an average of 9 in each semester of the university program.

Les Roches Marbella Global Hospitality Education offers a special scholarship of 10% over the tuition fees to the children of Spanish registered doctors.
This scholarship applies to the following programs:

– Postgraduate Program in International Hospitality Management
– Postgraduate Program in Marketing Management for Luxury Tourism
– Postgraduate Executive Program in International Hotel Management
In Canada, government student assistance, which can include loans, bursaries and grants, is available for Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and refugees or protected persons with assessed financial need. The federal and provincial/territorial assistance programs are jointly administered through the student’s province/territory of residence under the Canada Student Loan Program.

School Codes to apply – Les Roches: QPDH
Les Roches is recognized by the Canada Revenue Agency as a university outside Canada for the purpose of paragraph 118.5(1)(b) and 118.6 (1)(b) of the Canadian Income Tax Act. Therefore, a taxpayer from Canada who was a full time student at the university in a degree course can claim tax credit for fees subject to certain restrictions. Furthermore, a student’s parent or guardian is also eligible to claim the transferred portion of tuition fees allowed.

Students in a situation of economic hardship may apply for financial aid. Eligibility is examined on a case-by-case basis for those who have submitted a complete application. Funding varies in amount and duration. Because funding is limited, factors such as academic status, attendance and disciplinary history are also taken into consideration when reviewing requests.

*Les Roches reserves the right to review and modify tuition fees, scholarships and financial aid at any time and without notice. To maintain the standards expected from the institution, the tuition fees are reviewed annually. Please note that all scholarships are awarded on tuition fees only — not including room and board charges.
Tuition, professional development courses, accident insurance (professional and non-professional), laundry and ironing of professional uniforms (service and kitchen), some events and facilities (i.e. conferences, leisure and sports activities, library and media center), other school learning material, wireless Internet and Intranet connection, residence permit (only for visa students), consultation for internship, Spanish VAT, membership for the Alumni Association of Les Roches Marbella, tutoring (if required), industry presentations and career advice, membership for Manolo Santana Racquets’ Club Sports Center (tennis courts, paddle courts, fully equipped gymnasium, sauna, outdoor swimming pool) during the academic semester. Any unused services, clothes, school supplies, benefits, etc. included in the fees are non refundable.
Students enrolled in the Les Roches Marbella programs will need to have individual access to our intranet website, which hosts student information, including support and teaching documents and other learning resources. Students will also need to use internet for their project research, to access on-line library resources or e-mails. To meet the institution’s requirements, students are required to bring their own laptop which must meet the minimum specifications which are available at our website (www.lesroches. es). An application fee of 250€ is required with each application. Complete credit card information must be provided. This fee is not refundable.
A refundable general deposit of 500€ is required to cover any damage caused to Les Roches Marbella’s property by students during their studies. It is payable at the time of the first semester’s invoice and is refundable three months after final check out (completion of studies).
Room and board fees include standard accommodation (in double room) on campus (or off campus upon request depending on academic semester or program of study), full board (3 meals a day, 5 days a week as well as brunch and dinner on Saturday, Sunday and national holidays), or half board (breakfast and lunch Monday to Friday). Subject to availability, students can choose different room options as per the table to the right for on campus accommodation as well as in house parking facilities at an additional cost. Since single rooms are in high demand, students are given priority on a first paid, first served basis (pre-payment and single room supplement), but are allocated only upon the reception of the full payment of the university fees, before the deadline of 15th November (for the winter intake) or 15th May (for summer intake).
Room and board are compulsory for semester 1 and 2 of the BBA/Diploma, and for 1A, 1B and 2 of the BBA with Intensive English & Service. For semesters 4, 6 and 7 and Postgraduate students the accommodation is off-campus with half board compulsory or full board optional. Should you wish to stay in the campus, please note demand is high and the number of rooms is limited, students will be given priority on a first paid, first served basis.

Students are required to have health insurance coverage during the academic semesters and internships. Students who do not provide a valid private insurance certificate will automatically be registered by the institution at the most competitive rate which may vary from one semester to another (the current rate is 750€ per year). Accident insurance coverage is included for all students in the main tuition fees.

New students: upon acceptance of your application, a pre-payment of 2,000€ must be paid within 30 days from the date of the acceptance letter, in Euros, by bank transfer, check or credit card. This pre-payment confirms your place in the program and is refundable if a formal written cancellation is received before the 15th of November (for winter intake) or 15th May (for Summer intake). The pre-payment is deducted from the first semester’s invoice.
Returning students: before returning to school, a pre-payment of 2,000 € must be paid before 15th of October (for winter intake) or 15th of April (for summer intake), in Euros, by bank transfer, check or credit card. This prepayment confirms your place in the semester and is refundable if a formal written cancellation is received before the 15th of November (for winter intake) or 15th of May (for summer intake). The pre-payment is deducted from the semester’s invoice
Please note: if the student postpones his/her studies after the pre-payment has been made, the balance will be carried forward for the next intake only. No refund will be made in this case.
Payments should be made in full in Euros no later than the 15th November (for the winter intake) and no later than 15th of May (for the summer intake) unless a payment plan contract has been approved.
Payments can be made by bank transfer, check or credit card. Students will not be permitted to begin their studies until full payment for the semester has been received. The Spanish Resident permit, academic certificates are only delivered/awarded when all agreed fees and charges have been paid
As a private institution, Les Roches Marbella provides a limited number of scholarships for new students. The scholarships are competitive and linked to Les Roches’ admissions strategy which aims to assist motivated young people to study at our institution. Each scholarship has specific criteria, eligibility is examined on a case-by-case basis for those students who have submitted a complete application. Scholarship application deadline before the 1st May (for summer intake) and 1st November (for winter intake). Students granted a scholarship cannot request single room accommodation.
The tuition fees paid for each semester are non refundable. If a student cancels before the official arrival date on campus, only the pre-payment will be retained. If a student is dismissed or withdraws from the semester, only the fees covering the accommodation and board are reimbursed (proportional to the number of weeks remaining in the semester).
Any credits on account will be carried over and deducted from the invoice for the following semester and respectively refunded 3 months after final checkout at the end of the program.

All students are required to complete their internship(s) in establishments approved by Les Roches Marbella. The main objective is to prepare students for their professional career by developing their managerial, entrepreneurial and personal skills to their fullest through interesting and challenging internships. Les Roches Marbella has established excellent relationships with the hospitality and tourism industry, and a wide choice of training possibilities are offered to students in large, medium or small companies in Spain or abroad. However, some countries can be restricted by Government visa and work permit policies as well as language requirements. Although internships are generally paid by the employer, the remuneration received cannot be expected to finance studies at Les Roches Marbella.
Accepted candidates holding non European Union passports will receive, from the Admissions Department, their Certificate of Enrollment which, together with the Acceptance Letter, they will have to present at the Spanish Embassy/Consulate in their country of origin.
Candidates holding non European Union passports must make a personal request for their Student Visa Type D (not a tourist visa) and present the required documentation at the Spanish Embassy/Consulate in their country of origin. Students are strongly advised to apply for the Spanish Student Visa Type D at least 2 months prior to the official arrival date.
Once the visa is approved , the Spanish Embassy/Consulate will notify the candidate who then must collect his/her original visa from the Spanish Embassy/Consulate, and ensure that all formalities are settled before coming to Les Roches Marbella.
For residents in the Iberian Peninsula territory (Spain, Portugal, Andorra, and Gibraltar).
In order to qualify for Domestic Fees under this category, you must hold a Passport from Spain, Portugal, Andorra or Gibraltar, or otherwise meet all of the following criteria:
(a) you must be a resident in the Iberian Peninsula on the first day of the first academic semester of the course; and
(b) you must also have been a resident in the Iberian Peninsula for the full three year period before the first day of the first academic semester of the course.
