The QS World University Rankings by Subject assess the world’s top universities by subject areas, with the aim of helping prospective students to identify the best institutions in their chosen area of study. In 2018, the rankings covered 46 different subject areas and introduced the category of Hospitality and Leisure Management for the first time.
The rankings were determined through the use of two key factors: employer reputation and academic reputation. 74,651 scholars and 40,643 graduate employers participated in global surveys to list the top higher education institutions in their fields of expertise.
The full rankings can be found here.
Rankings should be only one factor among many that students consider when choosing an educational institution. Other factors such as the cultural diversity of the student body, the range of specializations offered, accreditation and recognition, faculty credentials, the quality of the facilities, the location of the campuses, and a visit to the institution should help the student to make the best choice.
We wish you success as you explore your options for an exciting future in the field of International Hospitality Management!
