NEW ENGLAND ASSOCIATION OF SCHOOLS & COLLEGES

Les Roches Marbella International School of Hotel Management, as an official branch campus of Les Roches, is accredited by the New England Associations of Schools and Colleges, Inc. through its Commission on Institutions of Higher Education.

Les Roches Marbella is the only international school of hotel management in Spain that is recognized by NEASC at the university level.

The New England Association of Schools & Colleges (NEASC), is America’s oldest regional accrediting body. It is one of the six associations recognized by the American department of education. Its goal is to maintain the highest standards for all levels of education (from primary to doctoral levels). NEASC accredits over 1,850 public and private schools, colleges, and universities within the six states that form the New England Region (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont) and over 100 international schools worldwide.

An accredited college or university is one which has available the necessary resources to achieve its stated purpose through appropriate educational programs, is substantially doing so, and gives reasonable evidence that it will continue to do so in the foreseeable future. Institutional integrity is also addressed through accreditation.

Accreditation by the New England Association is not partial but applies to the institution as a whole. As such, it is not a guarantee of every course or program offered, or the competence of individual graduates. Rather it provides reasonable assurance about the quality of opportunities available to students who attend the institution.

X ANDALUSIAN PRIZE TO EXCELLENCE

Les Roches Marbella has been awarded with the X Prize to Andalusian Excellence, granted by the Junta de Andalusia, Spanish regional Government. Les Roches Marbella has achieved this prize under the category «Socially Responsible Management» for the development of practices of social responsibility, the continuity and evolution of its certifications in quality and environmental management systems and social responsibility, as well as for its active strategic policies in different initiatives related to its adhesion to the United Nations Global Compact Policy and to the implementation of its Code of Ethics.

QUALITY & ENVIRONMENTAL ASSURANCE

	Qality Assurance: 2007-2011: Les Roches Marbella has been awarded Quality Certification in Management Systems UNE/EN/ISO 9001:2008 by Bureau Veritas for complying with international quality standards.
	Environmental Assurance: 2009-2011: Les Roches Marbella was awarded Environmental Certification in Management Systems UNE/EN/ISO 14001:2004 by Bureau Veritas for complying with international environmental standards.
