Students Loans for Canadian Students
In Canada, government student assistance, which can include loans, bursaries and grants, is available for Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and refugees or protected persons with assessed financial need. The federal and provincial/territorial assistance programs are jointly administered through the student's province/territory of residence under the Canada Student Loan Program.

    TUITION & OTHER FEES
     

    Tuition covers:
    Tuition, accident insurance (professional and non-professional), laundry and ironing of professional clothes (kitchen and service and post graduate only), use of professional clothes during the academic semester (for post graduate programs),working tools (cap, polo, trousers and boots for post graduate in golf management program only), some events and facilities (i.e. conferences, leisure and sports activities, library and media centre), administration costs, other school handbooks and supplies, wireless Internet connection, residence permit (if applicable), consultation for internship, Spanish VAT, membership for the Alumni Association of Les Roches Marbella, tutoring (when necessary), industry presentations and career advice, membership for Manolo Santana “Racquets’ Club” Sports Centre (tennis courts, paddle courts, fully equipped gymnasium, sauna, outdoor swimming pool) during the academic semester. Any unused services, clothes, school supplies, benefits, etc. included in the fees are non refundable.

    Tuition & other fees do not cover
    General deposit, books, private health insurance, laptop computer, School uniforms (academic, service and kitchen for BBA / Hotel Management Diploma), parking / covered garage, special / single accommodation and accommodation in new residence (upon availability), personal expenses or pocket money. Tuition fees do not cover internship periods, documentation required (visa, working permit) or the travel costs involved.

     

     
    ROOM, BOARD AND PARKING OPTIONS 
     
    The main fees include standard accommodation (in general double room) in the school’s residence, full board (3 meals a day, 5 days a week; brunch and dinner on Saturday, Sunday and holidays). Room and board are compulsory for semester 1, 3 and 5 of the BBA / Hotel Management Diploma. Subject to availability, students may book a special / single room and 4th year BBA students can opt for standard accommodation; however, since the demand is high and the number of rooms is limited, students will be given priority on a first paid, first served basis. Full board is compulsory for all students during the academic semester; any student living off campus, subject to the director’s written approval, can choose not to have dinner and weekend meals at a discount of 600€ per semester.

     
    Standard accommodation (in general double room) is included in the tuition fees. However, upon availability, students can choose different accommodation options in the School’s new residence building as well as parking facilities at an additional cost. Since there is a high demand for these rooms and parking options, students are given priority on a first paid, first served basis. The prices below are in Euros, per person, per semester and in addition to the standard accommodation fee.

    • Single room 2,800€
    • Parking* 150 €

    Accommodation in New Residence:
    • Double room 900 €
    • Triple room 450 €
    • Quadruple room 330 €

    Please note: a non smoking policy applies in all the residence bedrooms.

    * Parking on campus is at your own risk. The School will not be held responsible for any damages or theft occurred on the premises.



    TERMS & CONDITIONS
     
    Application Fee
    An application fee of 300 € is required with each application. Complete Credit card information must be provided. This fee is not refundable.

    Pre-payment
    New students: upon acceptance of your application, a pre-payment of 2,000 € must be paid within 30 days from the date of the acceptance letter, in Euros, by bank transfer, check or credit card. This pre-payment confirms your place in the program and is refundable if a written cancellation is posted before the 15th of November (for spring intake) or 15th of May (for fall intake). The pre-payment is deducted from the first semester’s invoice.

    Returning students: before returning to school, a pre-payment of 2,000 € must be paid within 30 days from the date of the pro-forma invoice, before 15th October (for Spring intake) or before 15th April (for Fall intake), in Euros, by bank transfer, check or credit card. This pre-payment confirms your place in the semester and is refundable if a written cancellation is posted before the 15th of November (for spring intake) or before 15th of May (for fall intake). The pre-payment is deducted from the semester’s invoice.

     

    Please note: if the student postpones his/her studies after the pre-payment has been made, the balance will be carried forward for the next intake. No refund will be made in this case.

     
    General Deposit 
    A refundable general deposit of 500 € for BBA/Hotel Management Diploma program and 300 € for Postgraduate Diploma programs is required to cover any damage caused to Les Roches Marbella property by the student during his/her studies. It is payable at the time of the first semester’s invoice and is refundable at the end of their studies.


    Payments 
    Payments should be made in full in Euros no later than the 15th November (for the spring intake) and no later than 15th of May (for the fall intake). Payments can be made by bank transfer, check or credit card. Students will not be permitted to begin their studies until payment for the semester has been received. The Spanish Resident permits, academic certificates and degrees are only delivered / awarded when all fees and charges have been paid. The school may consider and approve, when deemed necessary, alternative payment terms.

    Refund Policy and Review of Fees 
    The tuition fees paid for each semester are non refundable. If a student cancels before the official arrival date on campus, only the pre-payment will be retained. If a student is dismissed or withdraws from the semester, only the fees covering the accommodation and board are reimbursed (proportional to the number of weeks remaining in the semester).

     

    Any credits on account will be carried over and deducted from the invoice for the following semester and respectively refunded 3 months after final check-out at the end of the program.

     

    Les Roches Marbella reserves the right to review and modify the tuition fees of each semester at any time and without notice. To maintain the standards expected from the institution, the fees are reviewed annually.

      

    Private Health & Accident Insurance
    Students are required to have private health insurance coverage during the academic semesters and internships. Students who do not provide a valid private insurance certificate will automatically be registered by the Institution at the most competitive rate which may vary from one semester to another (the current rate is 670€ per year). Accident insurance coverage is included for all students in the tuition fees.

     
    Textbooks
    Charges vary per semester and program of study. Please refer to program’s price list for further details.

    Medical Certificate

    Students are required to provide the attached medical certificate with the application form.

     
    Uniform for Direct Entry Students
    Direct entry students to HO II (semester 3) or HO III (semester 5) of the BBA / Hotel Management Diploma will be charged an additional fee of 260 € for their uniforms.

    Internships
    All students are required to complete their internship(s) in establishments approved by Les Roches Marbella. The main objective is to prepare students for their professional career by developing their managerial, entrepreneurial and personal skills to their fullest. Les Roches Marbella has established excellent relationships with the hospitality, golf and tourism industry, and a wide choice of training possibilities are offered to students in hotels, hospitality establishments and golf courses, in Spain or abroad. However, some countries can be restricted by Government visa and work permit policies as well as language requirements. Although internships are generally paid by the employer, the remuneration received cannot be expected to finance studies at Les Roches Marbella.

    Please make sure that the bank indicates the student’s name on the payment advice slip for the bank transaction, and a photocopy of all transfers must be sent to the Admissions Department by fax (+34) 952 76 44 38. All bank changes incurred from student’s transfer of payments made to the school are to be assumed by the student and will be deducted from the student’s general deposit unless they have been previously satisfied.
