ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS

Students who wish to enroll in one of our programs need to meet all the admissions requirements of their program of interest. Please click on the program to quickly access to its admissions requirements:

• Bachelor in Business Administration (Hospitality) / Hotel Management Diploma
• Direct entry to Bachelor Degree (BBA - Hospitality)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Hospitality Management
• Post Graduate Diploma in Golf Management

BBA (HOSPITALITY) / HOTEL MANAGEMENT DIPLOMA / HIGHER DIPLOMA IN HOTEL MANAGEMENT / ASSOCIATE DEGREE

In this section you will find detailed information about the application requirements for the Les Roches Marbella Bachelor in Business Administration (Hospitality) degree and the Hotel Management Diploma:

• Normally 18 years old and above. Students can be under that age provided they are 18 years old by the time they start their 1st internship.
• A completed application form with all pertinent attachments and a non-refundable application fee of 300 € (first year and direct entry candidates only).
• An official copy of your High School Diploma or equivalent. Students must have completed their full higher secondary education (IB, A Levels, 2º Bachillerato, Abitur, Baccaulareate, Gymnasium, or the High School Diploma) or at least six years of secondary education and provide evidence, supported by complete information on the school, Including school transcript and/or certificate of public examination (including an explanatory note of the grading system).
• A complete CV. Pre study plan (brief essay stating the reasons why you choose to study Hospitality Management at Les Roches Marbella). Post study plans stating your future professional goals after graduating.
• If English is not your mother tongue or if you have not studied in an English language environment for at least 3 years, please provide one
  of the following certificate and scores:
  • TOEFL: minimum score of 500 points for the paper based test or 173 points for the computer based test or 61 for the internet based test (only valid for exams taken within a 1 year period previous to admission). The TOEFL testing number for Les Roches Marbella is 1000.
  • Cambridge First Certificate: grade C (only valid for exams taken within a 1 year period previous to admission). 
  • I.E.L.T.S. Students must apply to take the Academic Module examination and obtain a minimum of 5.0 in each discipline and gain at least an overall band of 5.0 (only valid for exams taken within a 1 year period previous to admission).
  • All English certificates must have been issued in the last 12 months prior to admission. If on application, your official English test results are not available, applicants will be required to take the Les Roches Marbella English entrance exam, and provide your official English results thereafter.

    
    
• A valid medical certificate.

BBA COMPLETION (4TH YEAR DIRECT ENTRY TO SEMESTER 7 OR 8)

In addition to the above admission requirements, 4th year direct entry candidates must meet the following:

• Students must hold one of the following:
  • Les Roches Higher Diploma in Hotel management or Hotel Management Diploma.
  • Diploma of a Hotel Management School or other recognized diploma with a minimum of 2.5 year program accepted by Les Roches.
  • Senior year status (completion of 3 years of university studies) in a hospitality or tourism program with 80 transferable USA credits or 180 ECTS and corresponding internship experience.
  • Applications from students wishing to transfer from other programs or other Hotel Schools will be considered. Appropriate entry level will be determined according to their qualifications; therefore, candidates are required to submit an official program outline and transcript of previous studies.
• Copies of working experience certificates in the hotel industry if applicable.
• If English is not your mother tongue or if you have not studied in an English language environment for at least 3 years, please provide one
  of the following certificate and scores:
  • TOEFL: minimum score of 550 points for the paper based test or 213 points for the computer based test or 79-80 for the internet based test. The TOEFL testing number for Les Roches Marbella is 1000.
  • Cambridge First Certificate: grade B.
  • I.E.L.T.S. Students must apply to take the Academic Module examination and obtain a minimum of 5.5 in each discipline and gain at least an overall band of 5.5.
  • All English certificates must have been issued in the last 12 months prior to admission. If on application, your official English test results are not available, applicants will be required to take the Les Roches Marbella English entrance exam, and provide your official English results thereafter.

POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IN HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT

• A completed application form with all pertinent attachments and a non-refundable application fee of 300 Euros.
• Must hold a Bachelor Degree or Diploma (preferably in the areas of Tourism, Business Administration, Economics) supported by university transcript and copy of university degree obtained. Applications from non-degree candidates with a minimum of 3 years industry experience will be evaluated on an individual basis.
• A reference letter of a professional or academic nature.
• If English is not your mother tongue or if you have not studied in an English language environment for at least 3 years, please provide one
  of the following certificate and scores:
  • TOEFL: minimum score of 500 points for the paper based test or 173 points for the computer based test or 61 for the internet based test. The TOEFL testing number for Les Roches Marbella is 1000.
  • Cambridge First Certificate: grade C.
  • I.E.L.T.S. Students must apply to take the Academic Module examination and obtain a minimum of 5.0 in each discipline and gain at least an overall band of 5.0.
  • All English certificates must have been issued in the last 12 months prior to admission. If on application, your official English test results are not available, applicants will be required to take the Les Roches Marbella English entrance exam, and provide your official English results thereafter.

 Note: Candidates with no university degree will obtain a Professional Development Diploma in Hospitality Management.

POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IN GOLF MANAGEMENT

• A completed application form with all pertinent attachments and a non-refundable application fee of 300 Euros.
• Must hold a Bachelor Degree or Diploma (preferably in the areas of Tourism, Business Administration, Economics, Agricultural Engineering and Forestry Engineering) supported by university transcript and copy of university degree obtained. Applications from non-degree candidates with a minimum of 5 years of documented industry experience will be evaluated on an individual basis.
• A reference letter of a professional or academic nature.
• If English is not your mother tongue or if you have not studied in an English language environment for at least 3 years, please provide one
  of the following certificate and scores:
  • TOEFL: minimum score of 500 points for the paper based test or 173 points for the computer based test or 61 for the internet based test. The TOEFL testing number for Les Roches Marbella is 1000.
  • Cambridge First Certificate: grade C.
